Entrepreneurship is a lifetime journey. If one is really going to be in business then one has to have a made up mind. What does this mean? Having a made up mind means that one will do and sacrifice to maintain the commitment to Never give up no matter what challenges one may face.
You have to be willing to weather the storms and work to overcome constant challenges that will inevitably pop up. Being in business is not easier than working for someone else. It may have a rewarding feeling about working for one's self. But, no matter if you own your business or working for someone; it's never about you; it is about the customers or the fans you are trying to reach or have reached. Once they see you and embrace your style, your product, and your engagement with them; they will own that experience for as long as what you market as being the essence of your business.
So then you will never want to disappoint them or let them down. But even if you do; how you manage short comings, adversity, and setbacks is very important and a great determinant in how successful your business will become in the long run. Your approach in and effort to resolving problems and issues, that are more often that not out of your control, will be the greatest test you will ever have short of a life threatening situation.
Challenges are like the weather they can be hot situations that can almost have your temperature boiling like a pot of hot grits; or situations when you may have to deal with an individual whose demeanor is chillier than the coldest day in the Arctic or Chicago on a day when the temperature is twenty degrees below any resemblance of warmth or heat.
Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle of producing and giving. You will produce product but you will give much to make it a reality as well as maintaining it. Because the idea is to build something that will keep on giving; to create something that will be a legacy of constant evolving to meet the needs of every generation that follows. Entrepreneurship is a diversified platform of block building and with those blocks you are contributing to building and expanding so that others can receive what is needed; revenue generating offers and products to boot.
Stay safe and keep on keeping on!
